two years

October 20, marked 2 years together. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years now. We ate at Tumea & Sons, a little "mom and pop" restaurant in Des Moines. We had never ate there before, but will be going back. AMAZING!

October 18, my boyfriend and I went and saw Looper. It was an awesome movie. I really got into it and had a good time. Plus, I got to eat movie theater popcorn, who doesn't love that. The movie theater is in the mall, so we parked outside Barnes & Noble. I had to check and see if the new Lauren Conrad book was out. IT WAS!

I've been reading a little every night and getting some GREAT tips! My boyfriend says I don't spend enough money on myself, so I finally bought something :)

Dentist/shop outing

After the weekend I had, I was happy to have a dentist appointment/shop outing with my mother yesterday. We both needed an extra day to recupe ;)

Iowa/ISU bracelets

It is that time of the year for college football, so I decided to make some Iowa Hawkeye/ISU bracelets. I'm going to try and sell some at the market! I haven't made bracelets like this since high school. 

I just pop on the TV and go to town.

This weekend I helped my boyfriend's mom with her garage sale. It was a lot of fun, she even let me take home whatever I wanted. FREE CLOTHES! It was such a nice day out, and by that, I mean it wasn't hot. I am so over summer. I knew it was going to be the only day I put make up on. Pay no attention to the weird pose.

This weekend I also did an upcycle on a Banana Republic collared shirt from Goodwill

I bought these buttons from Walmart

I had to clip off the backs of them so they would lay flat. then I used jewel washable glue, so hopefully I can wash it and they stay. Fingers crossed

Finished project! I really really like it.

Good morning! I had a plan to wake up and get into fierce clean mode. I should never had turned on Hulu. America's Next Top Model has a college cycle... YES!

Also, this weekend I put together a bracelet holder that I desperately needed. I'm not one to buy bracelets. Mostly because I don't have anywhere to put them. We are pretty tight for space in our apartment.

It was very easy to make and took about 10 minutes.

I used the only wrapping paper I had. Paper towel cardboard, a cd thingy? tape, scissors, and glue.

This part took the longest. 

Then a quick glue job!
