Last Sunday I went shopping with my mother and grandmother, my two favorite women. They always shop early, which means waking up early on Sunday.

on Wednesday 11-21-12 I got to go to Disney on ice! I hadn't been since I was a kid, so I was very excited. I went with my mother, 2 sister in laws, niece  & nephew. 
I was also very happy I got to whip out the FUR!

Sunday, Barb and I went to a craft show at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. So many neat things, wish I was more creative. We bought some REAL goodies. (pictures to come)

Friday, I had a hot date. My two best girls and I went out to dinner for sushi and drinks!

My co-worker bought all us girls in the office a treat when she came back from a show. She got my a "headband" with a sequin bow on it. She thought of Hello Kitty when buying it for me. She knows me so well.

saturday was quite the hoedown. I got to listen to some friends play some country music. 

I had such a blast with my gal pal Bradi. She lives too far away :(

sunday, not just lazy days

woke up Sunday morning and couldn't wait to sit on the couch all day and watch Glee. 

 put on my slippers, made some coffee, ate a healthy breakfast and relaxed.

shortly after I ate I got a text from my sister in law about going down to my parents for lunch. I got up, got dressed, stuck a full chicken in the oven for dinner, and off we were. 

I spent my day chasing kids and playing with babies. The best part about my Sunday, is that I wouldn't have it any other way!

Friday night the boy took me out to La Casa, which is a Mexican restaurant in our town. MARGARITAS! 

I also am wearing matching fingernail polish and lips. (coming to October favorites)

Halloween was a blast this year! My bestest friend and I danced the night away, and won 3rd place at the bar's Halloween contest. Woot Woot

--let me just say how amazing my best friend is. I was having a rough week with my grandpa passing and didn't have time to make my costume. So she went ahead,  made my shell for me and bought everything <3 I love her

Last minute my boyfriend decided he wanted to dress up. He chose to dress up as Nurse Kasey(my best friend)!

He put on Kasey's scrubs, name tag, head band, and my glasses. I put on the makeup

Finally, a time to reflect on my crazy week. On Monday, October 22, my grandpa past away. It was sad for the entire family and a lot of tears fell. We will really miss him and think of him forever. While looking at old pictures, I found some favorites.

After the funeral we all went to my grandma's for lunch. Since all the cousins were together we had to take a picture.

Then my brother got a good idea!

It was so much fun being with the whole family all weekend. The best part about my family is the laughter. As soon as Irma walked into the door after the funeral, she looked and me and said "I think it's time for a beer!"

two years

October 20, marked 2 years together. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years now. We ate at Tumea & Sons, a little "mom and pop" restaurant in Des Moines. We had never ate there before, but will be going back. AMAZING!
