window frame

My new find - I picked this up here, it's the cutest shop for all things vintage, and the owner is the sweetest.
Next step is actually filling it with photos, that sit in my phone and don't even get printed. I'll keep you posted.

Happy Wednesday

DIY Tray Decor

Woah, it has been a minute since my last blog post... so let's just dive in shall we. Here is my last project I worked on a few months ago, when it was still snowing.  I obviously had severe spring fever. -- I took a $1 picture frame and turned it into a decor tray. I took the back apart and removed the picture from the frame. I bought fabric from Walmart and it took the place of the picture. I also bought  drawer handles and for the purpose of this tray, they are just super glued on. If you need to make one that you can pick up and move, I recommend drilling them to the frame. And voila, there it is. Bonus, the flower picture that was inside the frame looks great on the lamp shelf!

Thanks for stopping by.

pink & GLITTER nails

I just wanted to show you guys how I've done my nails over the past week! Also, it's easy to find the time when your boyfriend buys a new video game.

GLITTER NAILS!

These were so easy to do, so it's another must have. Step one, apply Sally Hanson Hard as Nails

Step two, apply OPI: Love Letter (Do one finger at a time, because you are going to apply the glitter as soon as you put on this polish)

Step three, after you do your first finger just sprinkle the glitter on the tip of the nails. Some will jump around the base of your nails, but it builds character :P. After you're done sprinkling you can with your finger dab on the glitter so it's flat on your nails.
I picked up this glitter at Walmart for a project last year.

This is the color that I used.

Always finish up your nails with a top coat.

On to the the nails I had last week

First, I applied a soft pink color that I got in one of my Ipsy bags. Zoya: Gie Gie

2nd, I applied on the tips my favorite nail polish brand Maybelline Color Show. This color is Porcelain Party 380.

Then, just with a small nail brush GLITTER!

Stitch Fix

I got my first Stitch Fix Friday, along with my Mynt Box. I think I'm going to fall in love with Stitch Fix. What they do is, you answer a million questions about size and style. It costs you $20.00 for them to ship you the box. If you decide to buy something, that $20.00 becomes a credit. Example, if you like a top that comes in your box that is $30.00 and you decide to keep just that item, it's only $10.00. If you decide to keep all 5 items you get 25% off everything. Here is what I did not keep.

I really did like this top, however, it was not in my price range $$

This is the dress I decided to keep, I would have probably just walked by this dress in a store, but when I tried it on it fit perfect and looked amazing!
&& after you try on everything you have 3 days to take it to the post office in this pre-paid mailing bag!

My next Stitch Fix will be coming just in time for my birthday!

Mynt Box

Hola kidds, I received in the mail Friday my very first Mynbox! Mynt Box is a monthly jewelry subscription and you get to pick what kind of box you want. I chose the Mixe Box, which is just a little bit of everything. They say every box there is $100.00 worth of jewelry and you only pay $30.00. I am going to try this box for a few months and you can quit anytime you want!

They have the cutest packaging, I didn't even want to open it.

I love what I got! My first box was definitely a success. I think my green dainty heart necklace is my favorite. Have a great Sunday!
