Last night we had our annual Christmas party for work. We went to Centro in downtown Des Moines. I had thee best scallops I've ever had. YUM! I'm still full. 

I couldn't wait to wear my new outfit. Found the skirt and top at YOUNKERS.

christmas came early

Sunday morning I woke up to get myself some coffee and realized I had left my creamer at work... While I CAN drink my coffee black, I do not choose to. Good thing our kitchen is always stocked with booze!

I had to wake up early because we had Christmas at my grandmother's. Everyone laughed that I wore heels just to drive down to Lacona, because as soon as I walked in the door I put my slippers on. They were not surprised.

I finally finished with my Christmas shopping, Saturday morning. I got up to beat the crowds and finished shopping in a few hours. (I'm good) 

The best part is I got to wear my new boots

I think it's safe to say that everyone,  everywhere stuffs their faces for the holidays. I have took it to extremes this year, oops! I cannot stress how happy I will be when Christmas is over. I'm so ready to be back on my diet! Good luck, everyone.

Last Sunday I went shopping with my mother and grandmother, my two favorite women. They always shop early, which means waking up early on Sunday.

I'm a little behind on posts. Let us begin at Thanksgiving! The whole family, including first cousins, gather and my grandmother's. We always eat a big feast and run around and play with kids. 

As soon as boyfriend and I got home from Thanksgiving I put up the tree!

on Wednesday 11-21-12 I got to go to Disney on ice! I hadn't been since I was a kid, so I was very excited. I went with my mother, 2 sister in laws, niece  & nephew. 
I was also very happy I got to whip out the FUR!

I seem to have caught a bit of a cold. Not good since I am going to Disney on Ice tonight with my niece and nephew. Plus, Thanksgiving is tomorrow.
 I wasn't feeling the best last night so my boyfriend bought me THIS!

Sunday, Barb and I went to a craft show at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. So many neat things, wish I was more creative. We bought some REAL goodies. (pictures to come)

We have a wall in our apartment that has been taunting me to put something on it. So, Friday night before date night my girlfriend Kasey and I made a quick stop to Hobby Lobby, in our heels! I picked up a mirror and wall decoration for 50% off!

The "shelf" is actually from Goodwill, along with the vase. They match perfectly. I think I may spray paint the vase. Any suggestions? 

I had plans to turn the suitcase I found at Goodwill into a table. However, I couldn't bring myself to ruin it.

Friday, I had a hot date. My two best girls and I went out to dinner for sushi and drinks!

My co-worker bought all us girls in the office a treat when she came back from a show. She got my a "headband" with a sequin bow on it. She thought of Hello Kitty when buying it for me. She knows me so well.

I am about a week behind on blogging. Sorry, let's start with last Tuesday 11-13. I made homemade pizza. My parents gave me a pound of pork sausage, it was the obvious thing to do with it. I did not make my own crust, even though I would like to try it sometime. We ate the whole thing!

Call me crazy, but I have already started decorating for Christmas! I cannot wait for the holidays and I can't wait any longer.

healthy veggies

I've been TRYING to start to live more healthy. I just want to know, how do people live like this... I love vegetables and fruit, but eating them for every meal is getting exhausting. I eat a whole bowl of veggies and feel stuffed, 15 minutes later I'm starving. Now who wants a cheeseburger!

My birthday was October 22 and my mother just gave me my birthday gift :)

She gave me my Norwex, which I knew about and excited about. Also, HELLO KITTY car decal, air freshner, and coffee mug. Let's get real, I'm a 25 year old who can't ever have enough Hello Kitty

While I was at my parents Sunday running around with the kids. I left the boyfriend at home to watch the chicken I put in the oven. 

it was baked for about 5 hours on 275 degrees 

He was shredded, put on a hamburger bun, topped with bbq sauce and cole slaw. YUM!
