I used 5 different apples, 8 total
sliced them (I left the peels on, and it makes the applesauce have a little crunch)
throw them in a crock pot
add a 3 inch cinnamon stick
4 tsp of brown sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
cook low for 5 hours. I used my meat masher to mash. stir every hour.
of course remove the cinnamon sick when it is finished, lemon peel is ok to keep in.
